Dundrum Developments Ltd. was formed in 1989 to acquire and develop residential sites. Micheál and his brother Eamon are the directors and, in 1991, they moved to their current premises at Main Street, Dundrum.

In recent years Dunmore Construction and Dundrum Developments have concentrated solely on acquiring and developing high quality residential sites. Both companies were merged in 2005 and now trade under the name of Dunmore Construction Ltd.

The company received a N.H.B.C Award for its Rathcillian Development at Bryansford Road, Newcastle and a “Technical Excellence Award” for the Castleglen Development in Dundrum. Recently, for its Lisnisky Lane Development in Portadown, Dunmore Construction won the coveted C.R.L (Construction Register Ltd., UK and Ireland) “Award For Excellence” for Best Large Development.

Micheál Rodgers was asked by new home warranty providers Construction Register Ltd. (C.R.L) to join a steering group to promote the sale of new homes for first time buyers in the province. The group was responsible for the setting up of the new first time buyer website, which has been very successful in marketing the sale of new homes in Northern Ireland.
